Lord Brok Barron of Brinks

A former adventurer, Brok the Barbarian. He became famous and none too wealthy taming the areas around Brinks which back then were nearly as wild and dangerous as the Eastern Frontier is today.

After defending the fledgling village King Osric knighted Brok and bestowed upon him Brinks and environs as a fief. That was some 27 years ago. Brinks has not prospered overly under Lord Brok. On the other hand it almost entirely free of bandit troubles and monster raids. An amazing circumstance considering it's location.

Lord Brok is a private man in his early 50's. His wife died some years ago and he has declined to remarry despite the urging of Countess Elger and her many nieces. His only son is a ponce and has been squired off to some knight in a hopeless effort to make a warrior out of him. His eldest daughter married for love, running away with a wizard of ill-repute. He has protected his youngest daughter, Elsa, from the marital machinations of the Countess and King so far.
